Last week's menu went off with just a few hitches. A small crockpot disaster on Thursday resulted in our eating at a semi fast food restaurant (nice change and they have GREAT crushed ice), after we saw the movie Toy Story 3. This week, we are going to keep on keepin on!
SUNDAY
Grilled Hamburgers
Corn
Green Beans
To Do: Crockpot rotisserie chicken for recipes throughout week and freezer stash. Make lentils to 90% complete. Shred cheese, chop lettuce. Make Ravioli.
MONDAY
Chopped Salad
Sliced Avocado
I'm going to fuse the two recipes together hopefully making a new family favorite. I think adding some leftover chicken to my lentils will make a great filling!
To Do: Put Ravioli in frig to defrost
TUESDAY
To Do: Remind those boys of mine that it is their turn to cook, using the ingredients we have on hand.
WEDNESDAY
Supper surprise ala Boy #1, and Boy #2
To Do: Clean up kitchen...only fair since I'm not cooking
THURSDAY
Sandwich Supper Night
Black Bean Burritos
Chips or Tater Tots
Probably will be a very loose interpretation of the above recipe.
To Do: Heck, I don't know 'cause we're playing it by ear on Friday.
FRIDAY
?????
Depends on what time my work ends!
