Menu Plan Monday 2/10/14

I've always wanted to make sugar cookies with frosting like this or
this.....or even
this.  Alas, I don't possess the patience to do the intricate work.  I, however can do
this :D
Really no comparison, but they taste good.
This week's menu is all about chicken.  I thought that the kids had eaten all of the conveniently frozen cooked chicken that I made a few weeks ago but when I was reorganizing the frig/freezer to prepare for shopping, I found them.  I am the proud possessor of not one, not two, not three, but four frozen pre cooked chicken quart freezer bags and I'm taking the challenge to use some of them up.  Considering we have only been in our new home for about six weeks, I have gathered quite a stockpile.  So much so that I think I'm going to cook out of the freezer/pantry this week.  I will still have to do some shopping though as I'm out of things for my work lunches.  I like to eat fairly healthy for breakfast and lunch so that I have some wiggle room for dinner.  Yes, I love cheese.
Have a great week and truly menu planning saves my sanity most days...give it a try and if you want, head over to for lots of others who are doing the same.
