Menu Plan Monday 1/23/2012


I'm thinking Spring needs to come soon. 
 A time for renewal indeed....
This past week we again varied from our menu plan, but not horribly.  One day was take out pizza, which really, we do rarely.  A family we know owns the restaurant, so buying local, supporting the community etc. etc.
Can you tell I've justified the reason for takeout at least in my own mind?

I'm going to need to plan carefully this week since I'm not receiving one large check bi weekly, but rather smaller amounts each week.  I have to get used to my new system and shop accordingly.  I also have to work this weekend, so pre planning is going to be really important.

SATURDAY

To Do:  shop, attend a dear friend's memorial service

SUNDAY
Eggs
Bacon
Hash Browns
Flaky Biscuits
To Do:  Put shells in frig, cut veggies for week, make lunches

MONDAY
Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells Recipe
Garlic Bread
Steamed Broccoli
To Do:  Put pork chops in frig

TUESDAY

Veggie
To Do:  Nothing, soup and sandwich night tomorrow.


WEDNESDAY

Potato Soup
Grilled Cheese
To Do:  Put taco meat in frig (didn't use last week)


THURSDAY

To Do:  Nothing, leftovers and freezer food.

Leftover and Freezer Food

  1. Mmm...we haven't haven't had pork chops in a few weeks. I'm just waiting for them to go on sale in my area.
    Sometimes it's nice to have take out. It's definitely a treat, instead of a habit.
