Friday To Do List

Things I'm doing today are mostly related to stocking up the cabinets and preparing for the next few weeks of feeding everybody.  Boy #1 has embarked on a healthier eating plan and I'm so proud of the way he's incorporating this into his everyday life.  Luckily, he prefers "real" food over junk stuff so the transition hasn't been too hard.  I think for a time he was stuck in the "I'm hungry and I don't want to look past the Golden Arches" phase.  But he's changed his thought processes and he even took dinner to work with him today!

  1. Reorganize cabinets so that older stuff is at the front of the cabinet.
  2. Shop the grocery store for sales and replenish yogurt, lettuce, and chicken/turkey for topping off main meal salads.
  3. Make a phone call re: work.
  4. Unload dishwasher.
  5. Start laundry.
  6. Put pork shoulder in the crock pot.
  7. Go to lunch with Mom and Dad.
  8. Put ham in the refrigerator for slow defrost.
  9. Make dinner.
  10. Take Boy #2 to tennis practice.
All done!
