Menu Plan Monday 10/10/11

I'm sitting here writing this week's edition of Menu Plan Monday
knowing that only approximately
50% of the planned meals will be made.
(not pessimistic, just based on recent past performance.)
I'm also changing tactics and making meals that don't require much thought,
babysitting, or reading of recipes.
This past week, I did participate in a Chocolate Chip Cookie throwdown of sorts,
over at Mom's Crazy Cooking Challenge.  I was lucky #8 and if
you haven't seen my entry, go here to check it out. You could even vote for me if you want to!
It was a lot of fun to see the recipes all the members chose!
Just saying, Chocolate Chip Cookies are the bomb.....
Now, for the main event...drumroll please, no not really...no need.
It's only dinner :o)
Hope your week is blessed and happy cooking.
Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Yum. I LOVE split pea soup, but I've never made it myself. Let us know how it turns out!
