Last week, we were able to try a few new recipes and actually found a few that will be made again and again. There were a couple that I wasn't able to make because of missing ingredients. (Creamy Lime Cilantro Dressing, Parmesan Orzo) The buttermilk bread that I had planned to make just didn't happen, and the Croque Monsieur will just have to carry forward as the kids in my house that day just wanted plain old grilled cheese. However, I did manage to slide a basil leaf on mine :0) I posted reviews for the first part of the week, but didn't get a chance to let ya'll know how good the Korean Chicken Marinade was. We used bone-in chicken breasts and cooked them on the grill. The taste is sublime. I just mixed the marinade prior to freezing the chicken breast and put it in the frig the night before for a slow defrost. What a time saver!
Hope this week is as successful for us (albeit boring)...and hope your week is too.

Tabby

ReplyDeleteThanks for trying some of my recipes! I love love love the Korean Chicken Marinade. I'd eat it once a week and still not get tired of it. I also freeze the meat in the marinade and just defrost and go! I can't wait to try it on the grill (in Canada we are just getting into BBQing weather)!
