Oh, I am thankful for lots of things this fall season and one of them is the fact that the days are a little shorter which helps to get everyone settled in the evenings quicker. Unfortunately though, it makes me drive to work in the dark and most days come home in the dark :(.
Last week we stuck to our menu plan pretty closely with no extra shopping. This week, of course, is our Thanksgiving so everything is a little "wonky". Our big celebration was on Sunday, so leftovers are the name of the game for the first part of the week. For the rest of the week, we're gonna try to eat sensibly using whatever we have in the house. A run to the store for bread and milk should hold us for the week and free up a some extra cash for Friday. I haven't participated in Black Friday for at least 10 years but.....I'm breaking down and going this year. Are you? What is your strategy? Do you look for items that are advertised or the ones that are unadvertised? Do you wait in line for the store opening or wait for the rush to pass? Any suggestions?
Anyways, thanks for stopping by today and head on over to orgjunkie.com for other great ideas for your menu.
