Tuesday's dinner that was supposed to be Monday's dinner was gotten from here. This is the first recipe that I have tried from the site so here's my review.....Drumroll please......
To anyone who has read my blog, even once, knows that I always "tabbify" all my recipes (occasionally, I follow it exactly as I did here). However, it just doesn't happen that often. It definitely makes for some interesting eating.
For the chicken recipe above, I substituted boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, 'cause that's what was in the freezer. I adjusted the cooking time for the thinner pieces, cooking for just about 18 minutes at 400 degrees. I used evaporated milk (kids are home for summer and we were out of regular milk) mixed with an egg for the wash. I also used garlic powder instead of fresh chopped.
The result, it was an easy, quick, delicious meal. We had noodles and peas as our side dishes which varies a little bit from my plan...but oh well. Our meal consisted of protein, starch, and a vegetable. After this past weekend that is h e a l t h y. I'm pretty sure this will be made again!
