These peppers turned out so, so pretty... the taste, not so much. I think I followed the recipe, but I had Boy #1 reading the ingredient list while he was playing an online game so who knows!? The pepper was perfectly tender after about 6 hours on low. The filling, however, needs some spicing up. If I were to use this recipe again, I would maybe add some chunks of cheese after the filling cooled so that it would melt as the peppers were cooking and lots of seasonings. Garlic, salt, basil are all some of the spices that I would add to the mix.
The definite positives to making this dish is that it was ready right when I came through the door and I didn't have to think.
