A sale?

I need new shoes.  My feet hurt and the ones I want are $125.  I keep thinking that I will miraculously find some that are less expensive but I know from experience that if I buy the cheaper ones, I will end up buying two pair; thereby spending the exact amount that I would have if I had purchased the pair that I originally wanted.
This is a work related expense...hmmmm...tax deductible???  I believe so, but if anyone has any ideas on how to convince the store to sell me my shoes for like $34.99, let me know!
